Terms of Use
These terms are the agreement between you and Vundux for the use of Vundux. The sections on billing and on what our results mean are the ones most worth reading.

1. Agreement
By creating an account or using Vundux, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to hold an account.
- The details you register with must be accurate, and the account is yours alone — do not share your sign-in with anyone else.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been used without your permission.
- We verify your email address before your account is fully usable.
3. What the service does — and does not — promise
Vundux compares your CV against a job description and produces a match score, a set of skill gaps, a plan to close them, and suggested learning resources. These are produced by automated systems and are offered as guidance to help you decide.
They are not professional career, legal or financial advice, not an assessment of your worth as a candidate, and not a guarantee of an interview, a job offer, or any other outcome. Hiring decisions are made by employers, on grounds we do not control and cannot see.
Automated analysis can be wrong or incomplete. Use your own judgement, and verify anything important before you rely on it.
4. Your content
Your CV, job descriptions and everything you write remain yours. You give us permission to store and process them only so far as we need to in order to provide the service to you — including sending their text to our AI provider, as set out in the Privacy Policy.
You confirm that you have the right to upload what you upload, and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload anyone else’s personal information without their permission.
- Upload unlawful, abusive or deliberately misleading content, or anything containing malicious code.
- Attempt to gain access to another user’s account or data, or to probe, scan or disrupt the service.
- Scrape the service, resell it, or use automated means to exceed the allowance included in your plan.
- Use the service to break the law.
6. Plans, payment and cancellation
Plans
The Free plan is available at no cost with reduced allowances. Professional is paid, monthly or annually. Enterprise is arranged through an application and covers a number of seats in an organization. What each plan includes is shown on the pricing page.
Payment
Prices are shown before you pay. Where we quote in one currency and our payment provider takes payment in another, the exact amount to be charged is shown to you before you confirm. Your bank may apply its own conversion rate or fees on top, which are outside our control.
Delivery
Vundux is delivered electronically — there is nothing to ship. Access to your paid plan is granted on your account as soon as the payment is confirmed, normally within seconds of completing checkout, and a receipt is emailed to you at the same time. If a payment succeeds but your plan has not changed within a few minutes, contact us with the payment reference from your receipt and we will put it right.
Renewal
Paid plans do not renew automatically. A payment covers one period — one month or one year — and your plan simply ends on the date shown at checkout unless you choose to buy again. We will remind you before it ends.
Cancellation and refunds
- You can cancel at any time from Subscription → Pricing.
- Cancelling moves your account to the Free plan immediately. Any remaining paid time is lost.
- Amounts already paid are not refunded. This is stated again in the app before you confirm a cancellation.
- Your CVs, analyses and plans are kept. Free-plan limits apply from that point, and you can buy a plan again whenever you like.
- If an Enterprise owner cancels, every member of that organization returns to their own plan immediately.
Nothing here affects any right to a refund you may have under the law that applies to you.
7. Third-party resources
The service recommends courses, books, videos and documentation published by others, and links to them. We do not control those resources, do not guarantee their availability, accuracy or price, and are not responsible for them. Anything you buy from them is between you and that provider.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Vundux available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change or withdraw features. If we withdraw something material that you are paying for, we will tell you.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or where we are required to by law. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.
10. Liability
To the extent the law allows, Vundux is not liable for lost profits, lost opportunities, lost earnings, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service — including any decision you make on the basis of an analysis, score or plan.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. The date at the top shows when the wording last changed. We will tell you by email before a change that materially affects your rights, and continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
